LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team was defeated by Seattle University 5-2 at the LCSC Tennis Center on Friday.
The Warriors (2-2) took two of the singles matches and one of the doubles contests against the NCAA Division I opponent.
LCSC sophomore Livia Blasque won 7-6, 6-3 at No. 2, and junior Florencia Martina was victorious 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6. In doubles, Dorothy Chong partnered with Blasque to give the Warriors an 8-6 win at No. 1.
The team’s next match will come on Feb. 23 at home against Gonzaga University.
