The Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team remained No. 9 and the men’s team rose two spots to No. 13 in the NAIA Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 polls, released by the national office on Tuesday.
The Warrior women (3-4) received 256 points to remain among the nation’s top 10 teams, while the men (3-1) used 187 points to climb from their Feb. 19 ranking of No. 15.
LCSC’s men play two matches on the road this weekend in Oregon. They’ll face Willamette University in Salem on Friday, and Lewis & Clark College in Portland on Saturday.
The LCSC women won’t return to action until they play Washington State in Pullman on March 23.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences/independents/unaffiliated groupings. The third regular-season poll will be announced on March 19.
