MOSCOW, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College’s Eric Tuwei and Kyli Astle both posted top five finishes in the 3,000-meter run at the McDonald’s Open indoor collegiate track meet at the University of Idaho Kibbie Dome on Saturday.

Tuwei was third in the men’s race in 9:03.7, while teammates Hassan Khalif and Aaron Galbraith finished seventh and eighth, respectively. Khalif was timed in 9:10.32, while Galbraith’s time was 9:13.26.

In the women’s race, Astle was fifth in 11:12.70, while teammate Emily Perkins finished eights in 11:22.83.
