Emily Perkins won the
3,000-meter run at the
ninth annual Cougar
Invitational Track and
Field meet held Saturday
at Washington State
University's Mooberry
Field.
Perkins finished in a
time fo 11 minutes 9.19
seconds to capture first
place in the race and
defeating the
second-place finisher by
more than three seconds.
Perkins was the only
Warrior to compete at
the meet.
