NAMPA - Lewis-Clark State College freshman sprinter Damien Burchard competed in the 60 and 200 meter sprints as the Warriors' only entry into the Boise State University Team Invite on Saturday.
Burchard, who is from nearby Caldwell and attended Middleton High, ran the 60 meters in 7.74 seconds at the Nampa Center. That times palced him 16th overall. He also was 10th in the 200 meters in 25.26 seconds.
