PULLMAN, Wash. – Lewis-Clark State College freshman Kayla Stewart placed fifth in the women’s javelin throw at the 11th annual Cougar Invitational held Saturday at Washington State University’s Mooberry Track.
Stewart, who is from Pendleton, Ore., threw 131-feet 3-inches on her fifth of six attempts.
Stewart was the only Warrior to participate in the meet.
