Tisha Reuben, who graduated from Clearwater Valley High School in Kooskia earlier this month, has signed a letter-of-intent to throw for the Lewis-Clark State College women’s track team next spring, Warrior throwing coach Arlen Olson has announced.
Reuben placed second in the shot put at the Idaho State Class 1A Track and Field Championships in the spring with a throw of just under 34 feet.
Reuben was a four-year letterwinner for the track team and also played on the basketball team for three seasons. In 2010, the team won the state 1A basketball title and finished second this past season. Reuben also played on the Rams’ volleyball team for two seasons.
She was a member of the CVHS National Honor Society.
“Tisha was a well-rounded, three-sport athlete in high school who with concentration on track and field should see good improvement in her distances in the throws at LCSC,” Olson said.
