SPOKANE, Wash. – The Lewis-Clark State College track program had a number of school records fall at the Duane Hartman Invite on Saturday, and freshman Pauric McLaughlin headlined the day by setting a Warrior record in the 800 meters and qualifying for the NAIA national meet.
McLaughlin, a native of Letterkenny, Ireland, ran the course in 1:53.58 to finish second overall. He is the fifth Warrior to qualify for nationals this season.
Hayden Randall and Bethany Stuffle also set program bests on Saturday.
Randall finished the men’s steeplechase in second with a new top mark of 9:38.43, and Stuffle finished second in the 400 hurdles with a personal and school record of 1:09.30.
Other top finishes included Dave Marks who claimed first in the 5,000 with a time of 14:36.24, and Kelsey Klettke who took fourth in the 1,500 with a time of 4:48.79.
