Both LCSC
cross country teams finish in top 10
SALEM, Ore. - Calin Hantau
finished 15th to lead the Lewis-Clark State
men's cross country team to sixth place at
the 33rd annual Charles Bowles Invivitional
at Bush's Pasture Park.
Hantau finished with a time
of 25:06, less than a minute behind medalist
Chris Erichsen of St. John's, Minn.
The LCSC women, meanwhile,
finished in seventh place. They were paced
by Jenny Jensen, who placed 23rd with a time
of 18:25.65.
"This was as close to a
national championship-looking meet as we'll
see all year," LCSC coach Mike Collins said.
"We held our own. It was a pretty solid
effort."
