LCSC men’s
cross country team finishes second at
Sundodger

SEATTLE – The
Lewis-Clark State College men’s cross
country team enjoyed its best finish ever at
the University of Washington Sundodger
Invitational by placing second on Saturday.
The Warriors,
ranked a program best No. 7 in this week’s
NAIA poll, lived up to the billing with a
strong showing in the Open category, which
is for non-NCAA Division I schools.
Spokane
Community College won the Open with 64
points, while LCSC was second in the 20-team
field with 80. Region rival Simon Fraser,
which is ranked No. 24 in the NAIA, was
fourth at 109 points, while another Region I
rival, the University of British Columbia,
was 12th.
Calin Hantau
was LCSC’s top finisher, taking 10th
overall. He was followed by Aaron Galbraith
and Eric Tuwei, in 15th and 16th place,
respectively.
Other LCSC
finishers were Sean Huey at No. 21, Chris
McConnell at No. 36, Adrian Ramirez at No.
37, Jake Miller at No. 59, John Kane at No.
145, and Keith Nebeker at 158.
No individual
times were available.
Both the LCSC
men’s and women’s teams will be back in
action next Saturday in Boise for the Bob
Firman Invitational.
