The annual Doc Sears Fall Classic Fun Run and Walk, sponsored by the Lewis-Clark State College men’s and women’s cross country teams, will be held on Nov. 1 starting at 10 a.m. at Kiwanis Park in Lewiston.

The event is free, but donations to the LCSC cross country program will be accepted. A limited supply of event T-shirts will be on sale for $20 apiece.

Registration is required to participate in the event. Registration forms are available at local health clubs and Tri-State Outfitters.

 There are two courses at this event with a non-competitive 2-mile walk that starts at the Kiwanis Shelter area and goes north to the turn around and returning via the lower pathway between the ponds to the shelter.  The 5-mile run does a counter clockwise circuit of the BlueBridge and SouthwayBridge and returning via the lower pathway between the ponds.

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners in the 5-mile race.  Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each age group (10-year brackets).

Water, Gatorade, and snacks will be provided following the race.
