Both the Lewis-Clark State College men’s and women’s cross country teams slipped one spot in the NAIA Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 polls, which were released on Tuesday.
Despite winning its own invitational last week, the men fell to No. 11 with 403 points. Olivet Nazarene, which was 14th in last week’s poll, jumped to No. 10 with 423 points. Black Hills State of South Dakota stands at No. 12 with 364 points.
Malone of Ohio held down the top spot with 591 points, while Indiana Institute of Technology moved to No. 2.
In the women’s poll, the Warriors slipped one spot to No. 13 and was passed by
Cedarville of Ohio moved back to the top spot and drew all 21 first-place votes. Azusa Pacific, which held the top spot for the last two weeks, dropped to No. 2.
No other Frontier Conference teams received votes in either poll.
