The Lewis-Clark State College men’s and women’s cross country teams followed the trend in this week’s NAIA Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 polls, which came out on Tuesday.
The men’s team remained rank No. 11, while the women’s team stayed at No. 13. In fact, with the exception of No. 17 Shawnee State of Ohio and No. 18 Lindenwood of Missouri switching spots, the men’s Top 25 poll was unchanged from last week. The women’s poll featured only four teams switching spots as it also basically went unchanged.
Malone of Ohio kept the top spot in the men’s poll for the 10th straight week and drew 19 of the 20 first-place votes. Cedarville of Ohio drew 21 of the 22 first-place votes in the women’s poll.
LCSC is the only Frontier Conference team to be ranked in either poll and both squads are overwhelming favorites in the Frontier Conference Championships, which will be held Saturday at Hell’s
