The Lewis-Clark State College men’s cross country team is No. 15, while the women are ranked No. 16 in the first NAIA regular poll of the season, which was released on Tuesday.
The Warrior men drew 289 points in the poll and are one place behind College of Idaho. The women drew 244 points to edge Bethel College by one point for the No. 15 spot.
The Warrior women won the title at the Whitman Invitational last Saturday to open the season, while the men were second.
Both teams are the highest ranked among Frontier Conference schools.
Both teams return to action on Sept. 20 for the Bob Firman Invitational in Eagle, Idaho.
