season when he won the
Frontier Conference race by
three seconds to lead a 1-5
LCSC sweep… Was the Frontier
Conference’s Runner of the
Year… Started the year by
placing fifth in the Bob
Firman Invite and was the
team’s top finisher in three
meets…During the indoor
track season, he met the
indoor 3,000 meter national
qualifying mark after
winning the race at the
University of Idaho indoor
meet… Didn’t attend the
national meet… Continued his
strong performances in the
outdoor season with some top
10 finishes in a variety of
distance races… As a
sophomore, he finished
second twice and third twice
for the team during the
cross country season…
Claimed third overall at the
Whitman Invite and fifth
overall at the LCSC Invite…
Joined the team in 2006 when
he became the first Kenyan
runner to compete for LCSC…
Ran well for the team,
finishing consistently as
the No. 5 or 6 runner.

and graduated with a KCSE
certificate… Won the high
school district championship
in cross country in 2004
when he was captain of the
team.
