LCSC CAREER: As a junior in 2009 Huey
was among the team leaders,
earning three top-five
overall finishes and placing
in the top-three among LCSC
runners six times…earned
second-place finish at the
Whitman Invite 6k, recording
a time of 19:27.06…placed
fifth overall and third for
LCSC at the Erik Anderson
Invitational, finishing in
26:21.10…won the Frontier
Conference Championship race
in Salt Lake City, finishing
20 seconds in front of the
runner-up with a time of
27:08.3, earning him
conference Runner of the
Year accolades…LCSC no. 2
finisher (87th overall) at
NAIA National Championships
with a time of 26:38…won
10,000m at the Tom Gage Last
Chance Meet finishing in
33:34.31…in 2008, as a
sophomore, earned the team’s
Champion of Character
Award…for the second
consecutive year earned
All-Conference honors and
placed in the Top 10 at the
Frontier Conference or
Region I meets…placed third
and was the team’s No. 2
finisher at the NAIA
National Championship meet
…competed in track,
finishing fourth in the
5,000m at the Idaho Cup…won
the 5,000m at the Duane
Harman Invite in Spokane and
the 10,000m at the Pelleur
Invitational in Spokane…as a
freshman, finished in LCSC’s

race…claimed the team’s

on the team at the NAIA

was 25:31…ranked fourth on
the “Top 10 Individual 8K
Performers” list in LCSC
history.
HIGH
SCHOOL: Four-year
letter winner in both track
and cross country at Borah
High School...team won the
5A state track title all
four years…set a state
record in the 3,200m as a
sophomore with a time of
9:34.00...helped cross
country team win one state
title and finish second
twice...won several team
honors, including Most
Outstanding for both cross
country and track for three
years apiece at
Borah…finished third overall
at the 5A state meet and was
ninth at the Rocky Mountain
Border Clash.
