RS JUNIOR: Was the team’s top finisher in every race of the season until Nationals…Won the Whitman Invite to start the season in 25:43…Took fifth in the Erik Anderson Invite after running out front of a talented field for most of the race…Placed second overall at the prestigious Willamette Invitational…Captured sixth place at the Inland Northwest Championships in 24:31…Won the LCSC Invite in 24:50 and then ran away from the field at the Frontier Conference Championships to help the Warriors to a team title…Placed 52nd at nationals and fourth on the team after fighting cramps throughout the race.

JUNIOR: Ran unattached in cross country season and showed what he could do by placing ninth overall in the Erik Anderson Invite, and then winning the Warrior Invite by nearly seven seconds…Continued solid running into winter when he won the 5,000 meters at the Jacksons Invitational in Nampa and qualified for nationals…Named the NAIA Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, marking the first time an LCSC athlete has won that honor…At indoor nationals, he finished third in his heat in a school-record time of 14:58.58…In the final, he placed seventh, topping his previous time with a 14:38.13, just missing All-American status by one place…In the outdoor season, he won the 10,000 meters at the Dusty Lane Open…He won his heat in the 10,000 at the NAIA national outdoor meet, but unfortunately for him, the second heat was the faster of the two and had 13 finishers ahead of him…He also qualified for the finals in the 5,000 where he placed 10th at the national meet, also setting a school record in the event…Transferred to LCSC from Arkansas-Pine Bluff after his sophomore season there.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Kitante Hill School in Kampala in Dec. of 2008…Participated on the cross country and track teams.

PERSONAL: Born in 1988 in Kampala…Mother is Angela Anyuru and he has two brothers and two sisters…Hobbies include reading, biking, learning new computer software, and making new friends…Majoring in Business Administration/Business Management…Has personal best of 14:31 in the 5k and 24:50 in the 8k…Belongs to the Business Student Organization and the International Student Organization at LCSC.
