pitched one inning and then
didn’t see action last
season because of an injury.
JUNIOR
COLLEGE:
Pitched for two seasons at
Columbia Basin CC. As a
freshman, he earned
second-team all-NWAACC
honors as a relief pitcher.
As a sophomore, he was a
second-team all-conference
selection as a starting
pitcher and also was named
to the all-conference
tournament team.
HIGH
SCHOOL:
Attended Stanwood High where
he lettered three years in
baseball. He was a pitcher
and a shortstop, and was a
team captain his senior
year. Was named
Gatorade’s Rookie of the
Year as a sophomore and then
won the Team Leader Award as
a senior. He also was the
MVP of his freshman team.
Threw his first no-hitter
during his sophomore season
and was the team MVP.
PERSONAL:
Born February 11, 1987 to Victor
and Terry Stenger. He has
one brother, Nick. A cousin,
Stephen Stenger ran track at
the
University
of
Washington.
Brett’s hobbies include
sports, being outdoors, and
video games. He is pursuing
a Kinesiology degree.
