Lewis-Clark State Warriors 2013 Summer Baseball Camp

Ages: High School Freshman to Senior
The camp is designed for players with aspirations of playing college baseball. The camp integrates instruction, evaluation, and live game competition while exposing prospective student-athletes to the Lewis-Clark State College community. Players will receive 5 days of collegiate instruction and an opportunity to meet and learn from the current LCSC Warrior baseball coaching staff as well as student-athletes (prior and current). Not only will this camp allow you to showcase your skills, it will also give you a taste of what college baseball is all about and the winning tradition at Lewis-Clark State College. This Instruction will be advanced yet tailored to players of all abilities and skill levels.
The overnight campers stay in the LCSC dormitories with their teammates and coaches, participate in 5 days of instruction, eat three meals a day, and participate in recreational activities.
The local camper will experience all the above instruction; however they will not stay in the LCSC dormitories. Local campers will arrive for the morning session and will depart after the afternoon session. Lunch will be provided.
Players are guaranteed to play their primary position that they choose when registering and the Warrior coaching staff will do their best to provide players playing time at their secondary position as well.
Each Camper will receive:
1. 40 plus hours of Instruction
2. Warrior Baseball T-Shirt.
3. Tour of the LCSC Campus and Athletic Facilities
4. Scrimmage game experience for evaluation and learning
5. Question and Answer session for players and parents.
Pitching, Fielding or Swing Video Analysis
Players will be evaluated personally with video and have the chance to have their swing, fielding or pitching mechanics broken down by coaching staff. Coaching staff will provide an evaluation, feedback and recommend drill to improve your performance.
The cost of this package is an additional $50.00.
What should an overnight camper bring?
Each overnight camper will receive a suggested packing list in the mail or via email.
Local camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to complete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Please mark name on all items. Lewis-Clark State Baseball Camp will not be responsible for lost items.
Medical personal will be present during the duration of camp to care for minor injuries and illness. Parents or guardians will be contacted immediately if there is a serious injury or a child needs to leave camp early for a medical reason. Please make a notation on the application form if there is any medical condition we should be aware of in advance of the camper’s attendance. Water and Gatorade will be provided continually throughout camp.
