won the 1999-00 NJCAA National Title with a record of 34-4

19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks as a senior…named
First Team All-State and Indiana State All-Star…averaged 15 points, 10
rebounds, four assists, and two blocks as a junior.

PFEIFER ON BROTHERS: “Coming out of high school Martin took all five
of his Division I NCAA visits. He went to places like Purdue and Louisville.
He was not just a body on the Southeast Iowa CC team that won the National
Championship he was a factor in that out come. The key for him will be the
time it takes to make the transition from having sat out the past 2 years.
We believe that as he continues to get into better physical condition, the
rust we see will fade away and he will shine. The fact he is 6’8 and can
play inside and out is what makes him a special player. Inside he has a
knack to find ways to score, and facing the basket he is a very good shooter
with the ability to bounce the ball by people. Night in and night out he
will get his share of the rebounds. Although his time away may have
temporarily hindered his physical prowess, I think it made him more
appreciative to want to play. Martin’s addition at the Christmas break we
hope will assist in moving our program to another level.”
