PERSONAL:
Kinesiology major…son of Harold and Sharon Ray… COACH PFEIFER ON RAY:
“Everyone who has seen Joey play talks about his ability to catch and shoot
the ball an put it in the hole from deep behind the 3 point line. He is what
one would expect the stereo typical Indiana High School player to be. What I
have observed is that there is more to his game than just the catch and
shoot 3 point shot. He has learned to put the ball on the ground and use the
fact he is a tremendous shooter to his advantage. During certain times
through out his career he has been assigned the point guard spot which he
can do, however we like him more in the shooting guard position. The fact he
has played at the point guard position has certainly enhanced his ability to
do more than shoot, he is a very good passer and has a very good basketball
IQ. In time people will realize he is more than a very good catch and shoot
three-point shooter.”
