PERSONAL: Justice Studies major…son of Gary and Cindy Hansen…husband to Krissi Hansen and father to three-year-old Hunter Hansen…born Aug, 1, 1977Born August 1, 1977…COACH PFEIFER ON HANSEN: “I really believe that Jason brings so many intangibles to our team. The things he does on the court do not always show-up in the score sheet at the end of the night. First he is extremely mature, and with that it is always team first and individual second. He comes to play everyday. We never commented on his effort or willingness to work hard, no one is more consistent that he is in this arena. Jason makes ‘effort plays’, I can not count the number of times he slipped past defenders in games and in practice and although he may not have grabbed the impossible rebound he tipped it and kept it alive. His outside shooting which was pretty good to start with has really improved. If he has a weakness he is sometimes too unselfish and turns down those kinds of shots, when we would like to see him take more of them. We believe that when it is all said and done he is going to play a huge factor in our team’s success this season.”
