On the heels of the best season in school history, the Lewis-Clark State men's basketball team has been ranked 10th in the NAIA Division I preseason poll, which was released Tuesday.

The Warriors went 31-6 last year and advanced to the second round of the national tournament. They have nine players returning to the program from last season.

The L-C women, who saw their run of eight consecutive appearances in the national tournament snapped last year, were ranked 32nd in the preseason poll.

Both teams open their season at home with back-to-back games against Fraser Valley of British Columbia on Friday and Saturday.
