JUNIOR COLLEGE: Graduated from Wenatchee Valley CC (WA) in 2003...averaged 14 ppg, 4 rpg, and 4 apg...was selected to the All-Conference Team and played in the Sophomore All-Star Game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Goldendale High School (WA)...averaged 20 ppg, 6 rpg, and 6 apg...was a CWAC All-League and Media Classic team selection...earned a spot on the All-State Team, as his team finished 6th place in the state...Three year letterwinner in basketball and four year letterwinner in baseball.

PERSONAL: Business Administration  major…son of Dennis and Chris Jaekel… COACH PFEIFER ON JAEKEL: “Andy is a very good shooter.  He knows how to get open and deliver the ball to the basket.  The time he spent red shirting with us last season was valuable to him.  Offensively he is fine.  The time with us last year marked improvement for him defensively.  What he needs to continue to improve on is getting stronger in the weight room.  As this area of his athleticism improves it will impact his contributions on the court.”
