PERSONAL: Kinesiology major…son of Marcia Allen…COACH PFEIFER ON ALLEN: “Last year he had some electrifying games.  Early on his challenge was consistency from one game performance to the next.  That probably had a lot to do with him growing comfortable with a new system.  What makes him special is his ability to compliment his quickness with his outstanding outside shot.  He can score next to the rim and with that he can penetrate and is an excellent passer.  Dan can really handle the basketball and with his speed and ability to create the tempo at the game with the ball in his hands creates an urgent pace.  No question he is a special player.”
