  30 Keith Scarbrough
  6-4 Junior Guard
  St. Louis, MO
  Rend Lake

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Transferred from Rend Lake C.C. There, during his sophomore year, he averaged 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. He was elected to the All-regional team, and became MVP of that team. During his freshman year he recorded 8.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, while shooting  61% from the field, and 45% from beyond the 3-point line.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Edwardsville High School and graduate in 2003. As a senior, he averaged 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists per game. He was the league's assists leader, and, as a result, was selected as a 2nd team All-conference player.

PERSONAL: Business Administration major…son of Keith and Jan Scarbrough.

Coach Walker on Scarbrough:
“Keith is a nice all-around player.  He is versatile in that he can play on the wing or inside, on both offense and defense.  Keith does some of those intangible things well that don’t show up in the stat line—for instance, set good screens, make a good hustle play, or make a great feed to the post.  He does, however, shoot the ball well.  Also, he reads screens very well, which will make him such a threat in our motion offense.  Plus, he is able to post up smaller players who choose to guard him.  Keith is a great competitor, and will be a good leader for us.”
