PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Led the Red Devils to a second-place finish in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges conference tournament… Averaged 15.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game… Finished the season with 13 double-doubles and was ranked in the NWAACC’s top 10 in field goals made (192) and rebounds per game… He also led the conference with a 65-percent shooting touch from the field (192-of-297)… During the title game of the conference tournament, he finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds in a two-point overtime loss… In a second-round game, he had 20 points and 16 rebounds… Scored a career-high 32 points in a game… As a freshman, he led the team in scoring and rebounding, and missed being the league MVP by one vote…. Was an all Western Division selection both seasons.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mount Tahoma High School and graduated in 2007… Earned four varsity letters in basketball playing for coach Owen Chambers.

 

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 4, 1989 to Elija and Alice King in Norfolk, Va… Has three brothers, Leon, Isaac and Dennis, and two sisters, Michelle and Adrienne… Hobbies include model cars and playing video games… Is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.
