HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two letters in basketball at guard and three in track as a middle distance runner at Borah High… Was captain of the basketball team his senior year… Had an outstanding junior season when the Lions finished second in the state… He was chosen the Team MVP and Defensive Player of the Year for the team his senior season when he averaged 11.6 points, 4.2 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game… He also shot 83 percent from the free throw line and was selected to the All Idaho All-Star Game… Also played for the Idaho Select AAU Team… Ran the 400 and 800 in track... Graduated in 2008.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 17, 1989 to Bill and RJ Parks… Has one brother, James Manderscheid, and one sister, Sheila Fredrickson… Is majoring in Kinesiology... Will redshirt the 2009-10 season to allow him to retain his freshman eligibility for next season.
