Lewis-Clark State College senior Tanner McIntosh was named the Frontier Conference’s Player of the Week for men’s basketball, league officials announced on Thursday.
McIntosh, a 6-foot-8 forward from Imbler, Ore., helped the Warriors defeat Walla Walla University 89-74 in LC’s lone outing last week. The victory improved to the Warriors to 7-3 on the season.
McIntosh just missed a double-double as he finished with a game-high 25 points and nine rebounds. He hit 11-of-15 field goal attempts and also had three assists, two steals, and a blocked shot.
He is the first Warrior men’s player to earn the conference award this season.
The Warriors are back in action for a pair of game in California this week. LCSC takes on Azusa Pacific on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m., and then face Point Loma on Friday at Hope International University, also at 7:30 p.m.
