Two members of the Lewis-Clark State College men’s basketball team earned Frontier Conference all-academic honors, FC commissioner Kent Paulson has announced.
Senior Derek Gianukakis and junior Andrew Packwood were both named to the team. To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters.
The Warrior men’s basketball team returned only four players from a year ago, which limited the number who were considered eligible.
Gianukakis is from Republic, Wash., and is majoring in Business Administration. Packwood is a junior and majoring in Kinesiology.
