2009-10: Started 25 of the 29 games a year ago and was third on the team in minutes played… Was the team’s most consistent outside threat with a 39.6 percent average from the 3-point line (40-of-101) and was second on the team in 3-pointers made… Led the team in free-throw percentage at 76.5 percent and averaged 7.0 points and 1.9 rebounds per outing… Was fourth in assists with 62 and topped the team in steals with 37… Best outing was a 7-of-11 performance from the field for 18 points against Northwest University, which included a season-high four 3-pointers in a game… Also had season highs of four rebounds (three times), four assists (six times), and four steals (three times)… Scored in double figures in eight games last season, including three of the final four when he really came on… Averaged better than 12 points a game in the final four contests and shot 17-of-29 (58.6 percent) from the field, including 10-of-20 from

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Attended Menodcino College in Ukiah, Calif., during 2005-07… He was a two-time honorable mention selection to Angelfire’s list of the top 100 junior college players in the state… Selected to the First Team All Bay Valley Conference as a freshman when he averaged 16 points per game... Repeated as a first-team all-conference selection as a sophomore when he averaged 19 points per game and served as the team captain… Originally signed with the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs out of junior college but
did not play for the Mountain Lions.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played guard and earned three letters on the basketball team at Elsie Allen High, where he served as team captain the final two years… Averaged 24 points and five assists as a junior, and then 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds a game as a senior… Was a two-time first-team all-league and All-Empire selection, and earned honorable mention All-Bay Area honors… Was an All-State nomination his junior season.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 10, 1986 in Santa Rosa, Calif., to Frank and Jama Giammona… Has one sister, Tessa… Hobbies are playing Playstation and watching basketball… His uncle is former college and NFL coach Dick Vermeil… Another uncle, Louie Giammona, played in the NFL for eight seasons, while uncle Al Vermeil was strength and conditioning coach for the Chicago Bulls… Is a Communications Major.
