The Lewis-Clark State College men’s basketball team will hold a scrimmage at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Lapwai Elementary Gym as part of a fundraiser for the CJ Foundation for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the scrimmage starts at 7 p.m. Admission is by donation and all proceeds will go to the Foundation in honor of Josiah Sobotta-Marek, who died of SIDS in 2001.
Information and materials on SIDS will be available at the gym. Raffle tickets also are being sold and some of the raffle prizes include an LCSC family basketball season pass, cash, Pendleton blankets and towels, and more. Indian tacos also will be sold during the night and there will be a performance by Denovo Muzic.
