Bolte is named FC Newcomer of the Year

LCSC's PJ BolteLewis-Clark State College junior forward PJ Bolte was named the Frontier Conference Newcomer of the Year and also was selected to the first team all-conference squad, which was announced by conference commission Kent Paulson on Wednesday. Junior guard Donte Archie was named to the second team.

 
Bolte, a 6-foot-6 native of Tacoma, Wash., led the Warriors with 14.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. He was second in the conference in scoring and fourth in rebounding. He also led the team with 19 blocks.
 
One of his biggest games came against Lewis and Clark College when he scored 36 points and had 12 rebounds and four blocks.
 
LCSC's Donte ArchieArchie, a 6-foot-3 native of Los Angeles, led the Warriors with 97 assists. He tied for the team lead in steals with 36, was third with 9.4 points per game, and third with 4.2 rebounds per game. He also was second on the team in 3-pointers made with 34.
 
He had a season-high 17 points against Rocky Mountain, and reached a season-high seven assists in three different games.
 
The conference coaches voted on the awards, but were not allowed to vote for players on their team.
