Warriors to host benefit scrimmage
10/8/2012

The Lewis-Clark State College men’s basketball team will host “Josiah’s Jam”, an intra-squad scrimmage on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Lapwai High School to benefit the CJ Foundation for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the scrimmage starts at 7 p.m. Admission is by donation and all proceeds go to the CJ Foundation in honor of Josiah Sobotta-Marek, who died of SIDS in 2001.

Josiah was a cousin of current Warrior redshirt freshman guard Trey Sobotta.

The 2011 event helped raise $2500 for SIDS research. For more information, call LCSC men’s basketball coach Brandon Rinta at (208) 792-2865.
