The Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball team tied for the No. 4 spot in the latest edition of the NAIA Division I Coaches’ Top 25 poll, released on Tuesday by the national office.
The Warriors (19-2 overall, 5-2 Frontier Conference) went 1-1 over the weekend and sit in a three-way tie atop the Frontier Conference for the season.
LCSC was defeated at Great Falls on Friday night, but rebounded to beat No. 13 MSU-Northern on the road Saturday with a strong second half in Havre, Mont.
The Warriors earned 247 points in the poll, tying them with John Brown (Ark.) for No. 4. Undefeated Columbia (Mo.) 20-0 was the unanimous No. 1 squad in the rankings with 281 points.
Lee (Tenn.) is No. 2 with a 17-1 record and 264 points, and Pikeville (Ky.) is third with 260 points.

Senior forward P.J. Bolte leads LCSC with 16.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Junior guard Jacob Champoux is averaging 12.1 points per game, and four other Warriors are adding at least eight points per contest.
