JUNIOR: Averaged 6.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, starting the first 16 games before moving into a reserve role…Scored 13 points on 5-for-5 shooting in a non-league contest against Portland Bible College on Dec. 30…Put up 12 points and five rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench against Rocky Mountain on Feb. 11.

 

COLLEGE: Played power forward and center at Spokane Community College…served as captain of the team his sophomore season…earned first-team all-Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges honors for the East Region during sophomore campaign…Also was an All-Star selection that season when he averaged 13.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game…Helped his team to the East Region title and a fifth-place finish in the NWAACC tournament his freshman season…Team then took second place in the region and third place in the NWAACC tourney his sophomore year with a 22-8 record.  He participated in the NWAACC All-Star Game…Posted season highs of 21 points and 17 rebounds during his freshman campaign.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three sports at East Valley High in Spokane where he graduated in 2008…Played wide receiver and safety and earned one letter in football, and also was the No. 2 golfer on the varsity where he earned four letters…He also earned three letters in basketball...During his senior season, he was captain of the basketball and golf teams…earned second-team all-league honors as a wide receiver in football and honorable mention all-state honors in golf… In basketball, he was a second-team all-league selection as a senior when he averaged 17 points and nine rebounds a game…Also earned honorable mention all-state honors that season and won the MECA Area High School Award.

 

PERSONAL: Born April 30, 1990 in Spokane…His parents are Dana and Linda Marshall, and he has one brother, Tim McGarvey, and one sister, Jessica Marshall…Hobbies include golf, ping pong, watching and playing sports, watching movies, and working out…Is majoring in Kinesiology.
