Men's Basketball Player Profiles

Travis Homer 33 6'4" 193 Farward Kayesville, Utah
photo Travis Homer comes to the Warriors having played two successful years of basketball at two different Region 18 teams. Sandwich into that, the time Travis performed his Mormon Mission in Hungary, and you have a very mature Junior player for the Warriors. Travis played his freshman year at Dixie Junior College in St. George, UT where he was a part time starter scoring 11.1 ppg on a team that finished 28-5. This past year at Salt Lake Community College he helped his team to a 23-6 over all finish by leading them in scoring at 15 ppg, seeking 4 rpg, connecting on 50% FG, and being one of the elite 3 pt shooters in the Scenic West Conference making 45% of his 3 pt attempts. When you do the math Travis’ Junior College record is an impressive 51-11.

At Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah, he was a major reason his team finished 2nd in the 5A Utah State High School Basketball Championship. During his senior year he scored 18 ppg, with 5 rpg, shooting 47% FG and 40% 3pt earning him 1st team All-Region and All-State recognition.

PROSPECTUS: "Travis will spend the time to prepare to win. He is very strong as is evident in his 280 lbs bench press. He has the ability to put up solid numbers night in and night out. He is a very impressive shooter, but there is more to his game than that".
