Lewis-Clark State Rolls Past Great Falls, 117-73

 

LEWISTON, ID--Beau Barney (Grand Junction, CO) scored a career-high 24 points as Lewis-Clark State defeated the University of Great Falls, 117-73, in a Frontier Conference men’s basketball game, Thursday night, January 4th, at Lewiston, ID.

The Warriors (9-6, 1-0 Frontier Conference) shot 54.1% from the floor and committed only two turnovers, both in the second half. Zach Wilson (Orofino, ID) scored a career-high 18 points and pulled down six rebounds and Tony Burke (Port Angeles, WA) added 16 points and a career-high seven assists coming off of the bench. Brian Meneely (Kennewick, WA) netted a season-high 15 points and dished out six assists. Phillip Way (Craigmont, ID) added 14 points and Issac Castro (Honolulu, HI) chipped in with 11 points. Ryan Bender (Shoreline, WA) pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

Lewis-Clark State outscored Great Falls, 24-3, in points off turnovers and also held a whopping 40-16 advantage in points in the paint.

The Argonauts (0-16, 0-1 Frontier Conference) were led by Matt Geniesse’s team-high 20 points. Michael Ferris added 14 while David Jansen netted 11. Dustin Lym pulled down seven rebounds.
