Warrior Menís Basketball Receive 26 Votes for NAIA Top 25 Poll
LEWISTON, ID-The Lewis-Clark State College menís basketball team received 26 votes for the NAIA Division I Top 25 Basketball Poll released Tuesday, January 22nd. The Warriors received 21 votes in last weekís poll.
26th-ranked Lewis-Clark State (16-6, 5-1 Frontier) split games last week, winning at Rocky Mountain and losing at then #18 Carroll College. This week, the Warriors will be at Salt Lake City, taking on Westminster College, who received three votes for the Top 25.
The top four teams remain the same from last week. Biola University (19-0) is ranked number one with seven first place votes. Georgetown College of Kentucky (23-0) is second and received three first place votes. Oklahoma Baptist University (20-0) received two first place votes and are ranked third. Southern Poly Tech of Georgia (16-1) remains number four, and Mountain State University (17-2) jumped one spot to #5.
Carroll College (17-5) moves up three spots to #15 and is the only Frontier Conference team that is ranked in the current poll. Joining LCSC in others receiving votes are: Montana-Western (10-10), received six votes; and Westminster (13-9).
