Warriors Crush Wolves, 121-93
LEWISTON, ID--Jason Brazier scored 21 of his game-high 27 points in the first half, and added seven assists to lead the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors to a 121-93 rout over Walla Walla College in a non-conference game, Monday night, at Warrior Gymnasium. The 121 points scored by the Warriors tied for the seventh-most points in school history.
Seven players, in all, scored in double figures for Lewis-Clark State (11-5). Josh Wilson tied a career-high with 18 points and recorded a career-high with nine rebounds. Brian Meneely tallied 16 points to go along with five assists while James Idoko added 15 points coming off of the bench.
Hans Tulip led the Wolves (6-8) with 21 points. Landon Libby chipped in with 16 points, seven of which came from the free throw line.
Walla Walla jumped out to a quick 12-6 lead on a 3-pointer by Brian Burton, but a 26-5 run by LCSC over the next 5:11 put the game almost out of reach. The Wolves would pull to within 11 with 7:17 remaining in the first half, but another run by the Warriors (16-0) sealed the game. L-C would take a 24-point lead into the locker room.
In the second half, the Warriors biggest lead was 38.
Lewis-Clark State will now travel to Great Falls for their Frontier Conference opener, Thursday, January 3rd. Walla Walla College returns to action on January 10th when they host Puget Sound Christian College in the first round of the Walla Walla College Hoops Classic.
