Warrior Men’s Basketball Moves Up to #24
LEWISTON, ID-The Lewis-Clark State College men’s basketball team moves up one spot to #24 in the latest NAIA Division I Top 25 poll, released Tuesday, February 19th. The Warriors were ranked #25 last week.
Lewis-Clark State (21-8, 10-3 Frontier) swept its two games last week, defeating then #10 Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College. The Warriors wind up the regular season on Thursday when they host conference rival Westminster College.
The top five remains relatively unchanged from last week. The top three are all the same with Georgetown College
(29-1) in first, with nine first-place votes. Biola University (24-2) is second, and picked up one first-place vote, and Oklahoma Baptist University (26-2) holds down the third spot in the poll, receiving two first-place votes. Southern Polytechnic (23-3) moves up two spots to #4 and Union University (25-4) falls one spot to #5.
Carroll College (22-6) tumbles four spots to #14 after losing to Lewis-Clark
State last Thursday. Westminster College (18-9) is just one vote shy of the Top
25, with 22 points.
