Maciboba earns honorable mention honors

Lewis-Clark State College sophomore Julie Maciboba earned honorable mention honors on the 2006 All-Frontier Conference Volleyball Team, which was announced last week. 

Maciboba, 6-foot middle hitter from Kennewick, Wash., was the lone Warrior to receive honors. She led the team in kills with 229 and was second in hitting percentage at .198 and also in blocks with 52. She also was third on the team in assists with 44 and service aces with 25. 

Angie Johnson, a 6-1 junior outside hitter from Westminster, was named the MVP of the conference in the voting by the league’s coaches. Great Falls’ Arunas Duda was named the Coach of the Year.
