The second annual Clarkston Eagles Warrior Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament will be held Aug. 14-15 at the Clarkston Eagles Lodge and features a $10,000 grand prize.
Proceeds from the tournament go to the LCSC athletic department.
The tournament features three sessions of up to 100 players. The sessions are at 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 and at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Aug. 15. The top 10 players from each session advance to the final session at 7 p.m. on Aug. 15. There will be cash prizes awarded to the top 10 finishers from the final session.
The tournament has a $100 entry fee, which buys $7,000 in chips. One add-on will be allowed at the start of play for $100, which buys another $7,000 in chips. A second add-on for the same amount of money and chips will be allowed after the second round of play has been completed.
Also, there will be two re-buys available within the first 40 minutes of play and only if one add-on is used. The chip count must be below $2,500 at the time of the re-buy. The re-buy is $100 for $7,000 in chips.
The maximum any player can spend in the tournament is $400.
During all three sessions, after 10 players have been eliminated, there will be sit-and-go tables. Anyone, including people not playing in the sessions, can play in the sit-and-go tournaments.
Food and drink will be available throughout the tournament.
The tournament meets all state law requirements and policies as dictated by the state of Washington.
