LCSC releases schedule for summer youth camps
The Lewis-Clark State College athletic department’s schedule for youth camps, tournaments, and leagues this summer is now available.
The events; which include skills development and competition for a number of sports including volleyball, cross country, basketball, and baseball; are organized and managed by coaches from LCSC.
Girls volleyball events include Youth & Intermediate Camps for grades 1-8 on June 7-9, Intermediate Camp – Session 2 for grades 5-8 on June 18-20, and Advanced Camp for grades 9-12 on June 29-July 2. A volleyball summer league for teams will begin on June 21, and a team tournament will run July 13-15.
The LCSC cross country program’s Clearwater River Running Camp is scheduled for July 24-28. Camp participants must be entering grades 8-12.
Boys basketball camps include High Potential Camp for grades 5-12 on June 12-15, and Youth Skill & Development Camp for grades 1-6 on June 18-21. The Warrior Summer Team Tournament will be held on June 15-17, the Varsity Boys Summer League will start on June 18, and the JV Boys Summer League will begin June 20.
Girls basketball camps include Junior Warrior Camps for grades 1-6 on June 25-28, and Warrior Basketball Camp for grades 7-12 on July 8-12. The High School Girls Summer League will begin on June 19.
Heat in the Street, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for youths and adults of all ages, will be held on July 21.
Two Warrior baseball camps will be held during the summer. The first will be for high school students on Aug. 6-10, and the second will be for kids ages 6-14 on Aug. 13-15.
