The Lewis-Clark State College Warrior Athletic Association will honor 103 student-athletes who earned a 3.0 grade point average or better during the Fall 2012 semester at the Academic Awards Lunch on Feb. 12 at the Red Lion Hotel.
The luncheon will run from noon to 1:15 p.m. and will feature the student-athletes who qualified including nine students who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. LCSC administrators, athletic department officials, and coaches also will be in attendance.
“We had a very successful fall season in the competitive arena, and we had an even more successful season in the classroom,” said LCSC athletic director Gary Picone. “Having 72 percent of our students achieve a 3.0 GPA or higher and average 15 credits earned is an outstanding record by any measure.”
Tickets for the lunch, which is being sponsored by ATK CCI/Speer, are $20 apiece and can be purchased at the LCSC athletic department ticket office, located in the upstairs of the Activity Center.
