Senior's Seven Service Aces Lead Team to Victory

LEWISTON, Idaho - The LCSC Volleyball team defeated Montana State University - Northern 30-13, 28-30, 30-21, 30-20 Saturday night to earn it second straight Frontier Conference victory.

The Warrior offense jumped out to a big lead in the first game, spearheaded by senior Lindsay Iroume's (Morinville, Alberta) seven service aces and 11 kills.   Iroume connected on three straight aces to help LC to a insurmountable advantage and a victory in game one.   Senior Alison Adcock (Vacaville, Calif.) also had a great match from the service line recording four aces.

Senior Kim Condor (Puyallup, Wash.) tied Iroume for the team lead with 11 kills and led the defensive effort with a match-high 15 digs.   Senior Amy Flaig (Missoula, Mont.) recorded eight kills and a team-high four block assists.

The Skylights were led by senior Mitsu Phillips who recorded a match-high 15 kills, four block assists, and three digs.  Sophomore Lindsay Garcia had an impressive night with eight kills, five digs, and two block assists in the loss.

The Warriors return home on Oct. 3 and 4 to face Rocky Mountain College and Carroll College. Matches will be playing in Warrior Gym and start times are set for 7 p.m.
