FRONTIER CONFERENCE RELEASES PRESEASON PICKS
Lewis-Clark State Volleyball picked to finish 4th in Preseason

DILLON, Mont. - Carroll College and the
University of Montana-Western, the defending regular season conference
co-champions, are the preseason favorites of Frontier Conference volleyball
coaches to win the league title for the 2003 season. Carroll received five
first place votes while Western received three.
Rocky Mountain College edged Lewis-Clark by one point
for third. Montana Tech is next followed by Montana State-Northern,
Westminster College and the University of Great Falls.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. First place
was worth seven points, second place worth six points, third place worth
five points, fourth place worth four points, fifth place worth three points,
sixth place worth two points, and seventh place worth one point.

Rocky Mountain 33 pts
Lewis-Clark 32 pts
Montana Tech 29 pts
MSU-Northern 15 pts
Westminster 14 pts
U of Great Falls 11 pts
The Warriors open up their 2003
home schedule Aug. 28 against Oregon Tech and host the 2003 Holiday Inn
Express Tournament Aug. 29-30.
