Saw
limited action on the
varsity, but played in
exhibition matches when
opponents had extra players…
Went 2-1 in singles play,
both for the varsity and in
exhibition play, and was 2-2
in doubles on the varsity
and 2-1 in exhibition play…
When he played varsity, it
was usually at No. 6 singles
and No. 3 doubles.
HIGH
SCHOOL:
Played four years of tennis
and ran two years of cross
country at Clarkston High
School. Played at No. 3
singles his freshman season
and then was No. 1 singles
his final three years. Also
was the team’s top runner in
cross country and served as
captain for both teams his
senior year… Won the
Washington State 2A singles
title in 2008 after
finishing third his junior
year… Also was a two-time
Great Northern League MVP
his final two seasons.
