HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Hood River High School in June 2009 where she played on the tennis and soccer teams… Was a four-year letterwinner in tennis… She played No. 4 doubles her freshman year, No. 3 singles her sophomore season, and then No. 1 singles as a junior and senior… Won the team singles award her final two seasons… As a senior, she was named first-team all-league and plays fourth in the 6A District Tournament… Won her team’s Sportsmanship Award as a senior... Took second in the Madras Invitational as a junior and senior and her team won the title her junior team… Had a 3.70 GPA in high school and earned the Award of Excellence her freshman and senior years… Won several club and academic honors and took part in several charity projects.

PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 4, 1991 in Santiago, Chile. Her parents are Patricio Ramos and Bernardita Ortega… Played in USTA Pacific Northwest tournaments and was ranked No. 1 in 2008 for girls age 18 singles division in junior challenger tournaments… In club tennis, she finished first in the Ladies 3.5 Player of the Year Tournament Series… Lists her hobbies as listening to music, tennis, watch both old and new movies, spending time with family and friends, skiing, reading, and anything that gets her moving… Is majoring in Biology.
