Carroll puts end to women's winning streak

HELENA, Mont. -- The 18th-ranked Carroll College women's
basketball team ran its winning streak to eight games with a 100-75 Frontier
Conference triumph over Lewis-Clark State on Saturday night.
L-C, which had won three straight coming into the game, received a
game-high 22 points from Ashley Baker. But the Warriors trailed 42-31 at
halftime and failed to get over the hump in the second half.
Cami Kalbfleisch and Vanessa West added 13 and 11 points for the
Warriors, respectively.
Carroll had five players score in double figures, including Andrea Hall
(20 points), Carly Syverson (19), Emili Woody (17), Jolene Fuzesy (14) and
Laci High (12).
